Takashi Nishiyama

Landscape Architect

Takashi has a particular interest in combining Japanese aesthetics with European approaches to colour and texture. Before joining Churchman Thornhill Finch, he worked on numerous civic and commercial landscape projects across Japan. He has a Masters degree in Landscape Planning studies from Chiba University, and a passion for exploring the UK’s rich history of horticulture and garden design. Takashi has been immersed in education projects, working on the recently completed Harris Academy Sutton, the largest Passivhaus secondary school in the UK, as well as Hackbridge Primary School, also in Sutton.
